WHAT DO WE NEED?
Kibera is one of the largest slums in Africa. Almost 700,000 people live here. The NGO Kibera Tours organizes guided tours (local guides) around the neighborhood. For almost 3h you will know that, walking through its streets, playing with children, visiting workshops … and you will be more than welcome.
Throughout the tour you will visit a school where you can take school supplies (pens, rulers, notebooks). They also need food (rice, sugar, corn …). You can all buy it in Nairobi.
Clothing and medicines (without expiration, and with a note of use in English) are also welcome.
