WHAT DO WE NEED?
It is a small school with just 3 classrooms, located outside the Muthumariamman Thevasthana temple, 142km from Colombo, on the way to Kandy. Free education is given for more than 150 children between 4 and 8 years.
They told us that they NEED school supplies, such as:
Plasticine, lego or similar, scissors, puzzles, computers (for teachers), and music instruments.
The temple is very beautiful, and you will be welcome if you want to visit the school.

30km from Kandy, in the way to Colombo (142km). It´s just on the road that connects both cities.

The school is located in the courtyard of a beautiful Hindu temple, a religious minority in Sri Lanka. The temple is full of color and passion. In the center of Sri Lanka, you will find the Sigiriya rock, national parks full of elephants, and the ancient capital of the Anuradaphura empire, an archaeological treasure. Highly recommended in that area an Ayurbedic massage in Athreya Ayurveda Ashram.
