WHAT DO WE NEED?
We have 230 students, 30 from Myanmar, and the rest all Thai.
What we need is:
– School supplies, but above all, basic English books and dictionaries (Thai-English), as well as notebooks, pens …
– Clothing, socks, shoes, waterproof boots, raincoats.
– Football and volleyball balls.
The school is called Rak Thai School. And the Chinese and Thai children of the town come to her, but also the Burmese children of the town across the border. In total there are about 190 children from 5 to 13 years old.
In Thailand there are two school periods: from May to September and from November to March.

It is on the border with Myanmar, the village of Ban Rak Thai, in the province of Mae Hong Son. It has the peculiarity that it is a settlement of Chinese refugees for more than 50 years, it is in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills with tea crops. It is 44 km north from Mae Hong Son, and the road to it goes through mountains covered with jungle and valleys with rice fields. Turistically the area has no waste, there are many ethnic tribes, waterfalls, caves, and of course the road from PAi to Mae Hong Son which is a claim in itself, there are 762 curves they have them! You can rent a scooter in Pai or MAe Hong Son to know the surroundings, if you are a brave you can get to Ban Krai Thai in one, but better by taxi, or tuk tuk.
