178 children (elementary education, 6 to 13 years old), the only school on the island, next to the beach.

10.- Rice (bought in Senegal)

The Island of Carabane itself is a jewel. Take a walk there, you will see the first Church of Africa, the remains of a slave prison, the school, the beach, the fishermen. Negotiate with some local fisherman and go out fishing with them, it's worth it!
