Zanzíbar School of Hope
Zanzibar School of Hope, is a small school located in Mnazini Streeten in the Nungwi Village, very close to the beautiful beaches of Nungwi north of Zanzibar. It welcomes more than 200 children between 3-6 years old who come from the less favored families of the town. There they receive pre-school training free of charge. It is a very basic school and subsist thank´s to the donations from the children’s parents, without any help from the state. A lot of help is needed:
– colored pencils
– pencils
– books or notebooks to write
– English books
– rubbers
– pencil sharpener
– scissors
– chalk for the blackboard
– chairs or tables for the class
– paint for the walls
– clothes for children 3-6 years
– Toys for children
Any contribution will be welcome.
Note: many of these things can be purchased in Dar or Stonetown.
